Jonas & Sebastian perform at corporate events, folk fairs, brewery festivals, weddings and private celebrations. Their repertoire spans traditional Bavarian folk music through to well-known songs rearranged for guitar and Steirische Harmonika — a Bavarian button accordion with a rich, warm sound.
They perform from the stage, but also love to play directly among the guests: as a walking act between the tables, as table music during the welcome, or wherever the atmosphere calls for it. This flexibility makes them a reliable choice for events where the right mood matters.

Experience & Recognition
Since 2014, Jonas & Sebastian have performed at events across Germany, Austria and beyond. In 2015, they received the International Folk Music Award from Menschen in Europa at the International Folk Music Day.
Their stages range from village inn evenings to international venues. The same care and preparation goes into every performance, regardless of size.
Repertoire
Traditional Bavarian folk music — marches, polkas, Ländler — paired with well-known songs rearranged in the Bavarian style. Classics like "Fürstenfeld" (STS) or "Ein Kompliment" (Sportfreunde Stiller) sound completely at home on guitar and Harmonika, and connect with audiences who have no prior experience of folk music.
Whether as quiet background music at dinner or as an energetic set with audience participation — the programme is adapted to the event.

About the Duo
Jonas & Sebastian — two musicians from the Bavarian Forest, performing together since 2014.
Jonas Hackl, master electrician, has played guitar and various string instruments since 2006. His musical range spans delicate folk tunes to full-bodied arrangements.
Sebastian Wilhelm, PhD in computer science, has played the Steirische Harmonika since 2004. As a tuba player in brass ensembles and various folk music groups, he understands ensemble playing — when to carry the music, and when to leave space.
What started at musicians' gatherings in small Bavarian inns has grown into a reliable duo with experience on stages of every size.
